Moorhouse’s and Six Connections Comedy Night

Ticket includes:

  • A unique beer & comedy experience from the UK’s leading craft beer comedian.
  • Beer samples of the 4 beers mentioned by James in the show.
  • 2 x pint tokens to enjoy a couple of extra beers on the night from the bar.

£25 per person.

Beer add-on’s are optional, and beer is available to purchase via cash/card at the bar on the evening.

Tickets must be purchased in advance via the booking form. All bookings must be confirmed and paid at the time of checkout to secure your ticket. We will do our upmost to seat all bookings together, however due to the layout of the room we may have to seat on separate tables next to each other.


After sell out shows in York and Bristol, Beer Buff James Dowdeswell, as seen on “Russell Howard’s Good News” and “Ricky Gervais’ Extras” is keen to share his passion for the funny side of Beer at Moorhouses Brewery.

James was born and brewed in a West Country pub. He is the author of “The Pub Manifesto: A Comedian Stands Up For Pubs” published by CAMRA.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Pizza van will be available from 7:00pm to enjoy before the show starts or pre-order for the interval. Show starts at promptly at 8:00pm. A 30 minute interval will be in the middle of the show.

The bar will open during your visit for a chance to try a range of our beers and will remain open until 10:45pm. We will be closing the bar during the show to minimise disruption. However will re-open in the interval and after the show has finished. Doors closed at 11pm.
