Brewery tours are arranged for parties of 15-30 guests and are conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, commencing at 7.30pm.

The main brewery tour takes one hour and consists of, the History of Moorhouse’s Brewery (Burnley) Limited dating back over 140 years, the intricacies of brewing explained both on equipment dating back over 100 years and on a modern purpose built plant.
Touch, smell and taste raw ingredients used and see the yeast converting the sugar into alcohol during the different stages of fermentation. The tour starts in our brewery tap, The General Scarlett, to sample a pint of Premier Bitter one of the brewery’s award winning ales. The pub is situated opposite the brewery.
We offer the following tour packages:-

PACKAGE ONE The brewery tour starts in the General Scarlett with a short film and a pint of award winning ale followed by a tour of the brewery and then back to the General Scarlett for a second pint, a traditional pie and peas supper, and on departure, a presentation pack containing 2 bottles of other prize winning beers, all for the cost of £12.00 per head.	PACKAGE TWO* The Moorhouse’s Challenge, includes the tour followed by a pint of each of the five core beers, pie and peas supper and a unique Moorhouses Challenge T-shirt, all for the cost of only £20.00 per head, this offer is only open to non driving guests. *only available to non-drivers & coach parties
PACKAGE THREE As package one but guests would enjoy a sumptuous buffet rather than a pie and peas supper for the cost of £16.00 per head	PACKAGE FOUR As package two but guests enjoy a sumptuous Buffet rather than a pie and peas supper for the cost of £24.00 per head.
For an extra £30.00, your trip can have its very own Karaoke evening with M.C. to ensure everyone participates in the entertainment.

Visits are only arranged by prior appointment.
A non-returnable deposit of £100.00 is required to confirm your booking, the balance to be paid 2 weeks before the date of your trip.
